Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS Review- Price & Specs

Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS Review

Dell Inspiron i5577 is one of the best laptops in the market right now.

From a performance standpoint, we think this is one of the best in class. Based on our testing, tasks were easy to execute, the content displayed on the screen was clear, the battery life wasn’t that bad, and the connectivity ports are sufficient.

Built for even the most demanding tasks yet, the Dell Inspiron i5577 sports the 7th Generation Core i7 processor with a clocking speed of 2.8GHz.

In the specs mix is a 16GB RAM, which boosts performance, so you can get tasks done faster. And if you like, you can even increase the RAM memory to up to 32GB.

As for the storage capacity, you get a 512GB Pie Solid State Drive, which is enough to meet your storage needs.

It’s important to note that the Dell Inspiron i5577 laptop isn’t as light as other models in the brad’s product line. At 5.66 pounds, it’s almost twice as heavy as the Dell XPS13. Like many laptops in the Dell brand family, this one too sports an aluminum build with a silver-painted finish.

The Display

From a display standpoint, we’re more than willing to admit that Dell should take the credit for a job well done.

The screen-to-body ratio is up to the standard, so you get more real estate to interact with different kinds of content. Plus, the 15.6-inch display is a Full HD build, which allows you to view content in the best resolution possible.

With a video memory of 4GB DDR5, this Dell’s New NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Graphics delivers crystal clear content on the FHD screen, making gaming easy and streaming of your favorite movies and television series fun.

The Keyboard and Trackpad

One of the most essential things on a laptop is the trackpad because it is the most used part. A good laptop must have a good trackpad experience so as not to turn off its users.

Following the ratio of the display, Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS features an awesome wide trackpad surface with shallow keys that travel quite well before feeding back.

The smooth slate black trackpad is traditional with clicking mechanisms in both the bottom right and left corners. Gestures like the three-finger swipe and pin-to-zoom work well with this laptop.

One of the things that you’ll love about the trackpad is that it’s so soft that can give your palms a comfortable scrolling experience while using it.

Bottom line, Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS is a PC with the best trackpad in design.

The Audio Sounds

When it comes to the audio experience, expect Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS to give you the best of the audio world.

First, the speakers are loud enough to fill up a room. And the sound produced is of what you’d consider the best quality for the price point.

In our testing, we played jazz, hip-hop, and mixes to see how the speakers would deliver. We even streamed a few minutes of an episode from The Blacklist and Money Heist to evaluate the audio output from motion pictures. We were satisfied in both instances.

Of course, the speakers don’t have the best bass. And you shouldn’t expect them to sound like the new generation Bluetooth speakers. At least they perform well at the end of the day.

Software

Many Dell laptops feature Windows 10 Operating System. And Dell Inspiron i5577 5328BLK PUS follows the same trend.

Known to be the most robust OS in the current tech time, Windows 10 lets you do more with this laptop than you ever would if you chose Windows 7 Professional.

Wi-Fi Performance

The laptop comes in fully equipped with a 802.11ac Wi-Fi card that promises to offer better internet connections.

In fact, this is a far much better standard than Broadcom radios or Intel, which is common in some personal computers.

The card hierarchies some form of traffic from the internet over others in order to create more bandwidth.

The Ports and Slots

This laptop is fitted with multiple useful ports. When you turn to the right side of the laptop, you will spot a Micro SD card slot, a USB 3.0 port, and a Noble lock slot.

To your left-hand side, you will find 2 USB ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a priority charging connector. There are also lights whose main function is to show the user the amount of battery left even if the laptop is turned off.

The Battery Life

Although fair, one of the things you will love about this laptop is its battery life. It can last between 10 to 12 hours after a full charge.

But for this to happen, users should thoroughly refrain from power-hungry software, which may drain the laptop battery in less than 7 hours.

In case there is continuous streaming of HD movies the battery will worse serve the user for about 5 hours at most.

To add, having the wrong charging behavior will also affect your battery’s life. The charging practice we have is the one that mostly ruins the battery life over a short time. To prevent this, avoid blocking the vents of the machine or playing movies until it is totally empty (0%).

Final Thoughts

Dell Inspiron i5577 may not be the cheapest laptop in the brand’s product line.

But it’s definitely one of the best options that money can buy. That’s because it’s built for performance. And it can easily handle even the most complicated tasks just fine.
